LUCAS CHAGAS
Multidisciplinary designer focused on storytelling and emerging technology. Working across visual design, sound, and motion, creating concept-driven experiences that explore systems, behavior, and culture. Often exploring how structure and emotion collide, especially in spaces where music, technology and art blur together.
Originally from Brazil, my perspective is shaped by cultural research, trend exploration, and shared narratives. My work focuses on creating space for dialogue, collaboration, and visibility within underrepresented communities. It moves across digital, editorial, and spatial formats, always looking for ways to connect through visuals and stories.
Completed the Wix Studio Web.Lab program in New York, creating an interactive digital experience that explored narrative, identity, and emerging technologies through experimental web design.
Led the “Photoshop + Design for Visionaries” workshop at POWRPLNT, teaching creative tools and workflows to a new generation of artists.
Featured in O.R.B, an on-chain exhibition by ZORA.co (a leading platform for crypto art and decentralized cultural publishing) at Espaço Caroço Art gallery in São Paulo, opened March 23, 2024.
Named by Hypebeast as one of the Brazilian NYC-based designers to watch in 2023.
Collaborated on a range of creative projects including art direction for Jeezy’s latest album/Vinyl I Might Forgive… But I Won’t Forget, title design for Dazed100’s Anatomy of Diaspora, and editorial design for BRICKS Magazine’s feature on Brazilian fashion.
Wix Web.Lab 2025
A speculative digital experience developed as part of the Wix Studio Web.Lab. The project was built using Wix Studio, with visuals and motion created through a mix of Blender, After Effects, image manipulation, and assets designed from scratch. Emerging tools like Runway, MidJourney, and Kaiber were also integrated to explore generative workflows.
